While living on the same hall during our Masters in Bath, our friendship blossomed into love over our shared love for travel, and reading. We both realized we wanted more and so began a wonderful 4 years of dating; from living together immediately, to long-distance over the Atlantic Ocean, to long-distance across the US, to finally moving back in-together at Penn State.

On 6th of December 2024, Thomas proposed to Hannah in Oxford, UK in the Bodleian Library.
