Our Wedding

While living on the same hall during their master's in Bath, Thomas and Hannah became friends over their shared love of reading, travelling, and terrible fantasy TV shows. After three months of being flat mates, they started dating and so began a wonderful 4 years; living together from day one, long-distance over the Atlantic Ocean, long-distance across the United States, and finally moving back in together at Penn State. On December 6th, 2024, Thomas proposed to Hannah, who said "yes" to forever, at the Bodleian Library, Oxford. On May 23rd, 2026, Thomas and Hannah will be married at Wynyard Hall, England.

When Thomas and Hannah viewed the venue in January 2025, they both knew this would be where they would get married. The two book worms felt they had been transported into a Regency era romance novel - the perfect place to usher in the next chapter of their lives together.

What is the Dress Code?

Do you Recommended any Airports?

For the closest airports to the venue fly into England's more northern international airports, Manchester and Newcastle. If you would like to explore the UK before the wedding, fly into any of London's international airports, Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted.

How do you Recommended Traveling to the Venue?

If you are travelling by train, the closest station is Stockton-on-Tees. From there it is a short cab ride to the venue and nearby recommended hotels. If you are travelling by car to Wynyard for the wedding we recommend parking at your hotel and then taking a cab over to the wedding as there is limited car parking at the venue.

Will the Wedding be Indoors or Outside?

Given the unpredictability of English weather the main wedding ceremony will be held inside Wynyard Hall. However, hopefully everyone will all be able to enjoy the outside grounds during the Garden Party the night before and after the ceremony.

What do 'I do' if I have a Dietary Restriction?

Given Thomas and Hannah are both vegetarian they understand the importance of accommodating for dietary restrictions. As such, when you RSVP there is an option to let them know if you have any dietary restrictions!
